If you're anything like me, there is something special that happens internally when you explore a new geography: a re-working of our brain chemistry; an expansion of our understanding; a renewal of our hearts.
Wandering the dust-covered cobblestone streets of Puerto Vallarta, I regained that ability to see the world through a fresh pair of eyes. Running ahead then trailing behind our little tour group, I was alive with child-like wonder, doing my best to take it all in: pastel colors, geometric patterns, (giant iguanas hidden in the palm branches overhead!), crumbling walls.
