Farm Wedding with a Surprise Flash Mob Dance

Lucy and Austin's wedding day was arrayed in vibrant color, packed with joy all around, and featured cameo appearances by the resident goats, chickens and llamas of the Lyons Farmette. The natural beauty of Colorado surrounded us on every side as their close-knit community of family and friends cheered, cried, and celebrated throughout one of the most special and downright fun weddings I have been lucky enough to experience. As day faded to dusk, we all gathered around long farm tables, lights strung up and glowing overhead, while close friends and family regaled us with tales of their intertwined lives. Days just don't get much better.

Lucy and Austin, you two were an inspiration to me early on in how you've supported and encouraged each other in the pursuit of your dreams, relocating and even criss-crossing the country to make that happen. But seeing firsthand the community you forge wherever you go, and the one that continues to flourish in spite of distance was something truly profound. Thank you for inviting Abby and me into your celebration in both Silver Plume and Lyons, sharing part of your story with us, and just being downright amazing people.

P.S. Don't miss the video recording of their surprise flash mob dance at the end. I promise it will brighten your day. :)
