Candice and TJ began their ceremony somewhat untraditionally—and with such beautiful intentionality—by sharing part of their story, and the significance of the particular meadow we had convened in last autumn. It was an intimate time of reflection on their hopes, dreams, and struggles to make it to this point their story. All those emotions were evident throughout the rest of the afternoon: in the barefoot dancing behind their family mountain home, and in the quiet passion of their portraits. Quite honestly, this was one of my all-time favorite weddings to be even a small part of, and I owe a huge hug and high five to Hugh Forte—one of my biggest inspirations in photography—for inviting me along to second shoot this day with him.
