Many thanks to my good friend Levi Tijerina for inviting me along for this weekend wedding adventure in Minneapolis, MN, and showing me all over his old stomping grounds. (We're talking the Blue Door, Spyhouse, and Bauhaus, folks!) Brian and Kelly's day was a such a treat to be apart of, and I knew I was going to get along swimmingly with these two once I heard they'd both visited/adored Antalya, Turkey, that Brian plays banjo in an a band with his brother, and once I spied the fantastic vinyl collection adorning their living room walls. A couple of my favorite moments were: one, watching Brian and all his guys belt out the anthem to their favorite football team, and two, listening in on the best man speech as Brian's brother poured his heart out documenting their one-of-kind brotherhood/friendship. And there could not have been a more perfect space to celebrate than the PNA Hall which Brian and Kelly had converted into an charming reception venue. I definitely hope to cross paths with these two again one day...(maybe even in Turkey?) You never know. :)
